A power plant operates at 25% efficiency. The exhaust heat is let out into the air which raises the local air temperature by 8 degrees. The power output of the plant is 900 MW. You want to check the impact on the local climate so you calculate the total volume of air that will be heated per day. Assuming the density of the air to be 1.3 kg/m3 and the specific heat to be 1.0 kJ/kg what is the volume?
