Consider the following two-step process. Heat is allowed toflow out of an ideal gas at constant volume so that its pressuredrops from P1 = 2.02 atm toP2 = 1.62 atm. Then the gas expandsat constant pressure, from a volume of V1 = 6.50L to V2 = 10.2 L, wherethe temperature reaches its original value. Calculate the totalwork done by the gas in the process. Calculate the change ininternal energy of the gas in the process. Calculate the total heatflow into or out of the gas.
