Calculate the total charge induced on the earths surface

The Earth has a static electric field almost everywhere on the surface of about 100 V/m, pointed downward, called the "Fair weather field". This is because the Earth (which is conducting) and the "ionosphere" (which starts at 80 km altitude) form a type of capacitor called a spherical shell capacitor. This capacitor is charged up, and there is still controversy among scientists about how it charges. Calculate the total charge induced on the Earth's surface, given the Fair weather field of 100 V/m. The radius of the Earth is ~6371 km.
