A small spherical mass of 8.25 × 10-2 kg and charge of q2 = - 0.40 µC hangs from a thread. The thread is at an angle of 26.0° because the charge is repelled by another q1 = - 0.90 µC charge which rigidly hangs straight down.

(i) How many electrons would need to be removed from q1 to make it neutral?

(ii) What is the tension in the thread?

(iii) What is the distance r between the charges?
