Problem 1. A moment M is applied to a beam of the cross section. The moments of inertia of the section around axes y and z are Iy = 2.22*10-4 m4, and Iz = 1.1010-4 m4. The joint moment of inertia Iyz can be calculated from the section dimension. a) Determine the bending normal stresses at point A; b) Determine the angle between the neutral axis and the z axis.
