Rubidium atoms have been cooled (using laser techniques) and trapped in a magnetic "bottle" in order to observe Bose Einstein Condensation (Nobel Prize 2001).

Suppose the cloud of atoms is cooled to one micro-Kelvin. Calculate the root mean square speed of the rubidium atoms. [The atoms are at such low density that they remain in a (metastable) gas phase].
