Question - Consider the circuit shown below in Fig.

The following facts are known about the circuit;
- 6.25V is measured from node A to node B.
- Bulb 1 and Bulb 2 have a resistance of 25 Ohms each.
- The value of R2 is 300 Ohms and R3 is 488 Ohms.
A) Calculate the required value for R1 and then redraw the circuit showing all voltages across each component and the currents in each branch. Be sure to indicate polarity and direction. Your diagram should be large (about a page) to give yourself enough room to add all information clearly.
B) Which bulb will glow brighter? You must justify your answer, just writing one bulb or the other will not sufficient.
Resistors only come in a limited range of 'preferred' values so it is not often possible to buy the value you want "off the shelf". Assume you only have available a resistor pack which has the resistor values and quantities shown in table one in attached file.
C) Suggest, showing all calculations, how you could build the circuit using only these available resistors. (i.e. show how you can combine the resistors on the list to match your values of R1, R2 and R3). Your aim should be to match the required number as close as possible but if you cannot get the exact value, a value within 10% will be sufficient.
