Air enters an insulated diffuser operating at steady state with a pressure of 105 N/m2 and a temperature of 57 degrees celsius. At the exit, the pressure is 1.13 x105 N/m2 , the temperature is 67 degrees celsius, and the velocity is 140 m/s. Potential energy effects can be neglected. Assuming ideal gas model with R=287 J/kg.K

Calculate the ratio of the exit flow area to the inlet flow area, then determine the mass flow rates at the inlet and the exit if the diffuser inlet area is 4.89 x10-4 m2.
