A thin conducting copper rod of length L=1 .25m and cross sectional area A = 3.2 x 10-4 m2 is placed between two temperature reservoirs at temperatures TH = 120.0 oC and Tc = 0.0 oC. Assume the thermal conductivity of the rod is constant and equal to k=385W/m.K. The rod is allowed to reach steady state conditions. The bar is then removed from the reservoirs and thermally insulated.

Calculate the ratio of the change in entropy to the heat capacity of the rod when it reaches equilibrium. You should express your result to 4 decimal places.
