Humid air can be considered a mixture of two components: dry air and water vapor. Fresh feed air containing 3.00% water entering at a rate of 50.0 kg/min is mixed with a recycle stream of previously dehumidified air. All compositions are measured by mass. The mixture enters a condenser that removes a portion of the water in one stream (as pure liquid water). The second stream exiting the condenser contains air of lower humidity, specifically 1.50% water. 70.0% of that air is recycled, as mentioned earlier, and the rest is delivered to a house.
