You will be completing a lab report that is going to examine the reaction;

2A(aq) + 3B(aq) --> C(aq) + 2D(aq) + 250 kJ

Given the following data:

molar mass A = 25 g/mol

molar mass B = 30 g/mol

molar mass C = 55 g/mol

molar mass D = 42.5 g/mol

The reaction is taking place in a calorimeter that contains 0.75L of water based solution

You are starting with

15g of A and 17g of B in the calorimeter.

Submit a lab report using your own (made up) results that show the calorimeter registering 95% of the energy released from the reaction being absorbed by the water in the calorimeter. Also, In your analysis, calculate the rate of the reaction at the point when 50% of the limiting reactant is used up.

Both A and B are first order reactants.

The rate constant for this reaction is 1.3 M-1S-1
