A closed rigid container has a volume of 85 liters. The system contains steam at 2 bar and has a quality of 0.9. Calculate the quantity of heat which must be removed from the system so that the final pressure of the system is 1.0 bar. Also, find the change in the enthalpies (Delta H) and entropies (Delta S) from state 1 to 2. Comment on the change in the entropy and, is it possible? Draw P-v, T-v, etc. diagrams where applicable. Use a straight edge. Draw a picture which is representative of process being analyzed.
