During Covid, you decide to enter the world of foreign exchange trading and start with $250,000 Canadian dollars to trade currencies. You first buy Euro's at a rate of 1 CAN = .6950 Euro's. You then trade your Euros into Brazilian Real at 1 Euro = 3.4000 Brazilian Real. Then you take one more trade from Brazil to the UK before coming back to Canada. The Brazil to UK rate is 1UK pound = 2.40 Brazilian Real. As well, 1 British Pound buys 1.0526 Canadian dollars. There is a fee of $500 to do all the trades.
