All continued to be ill on October 1, but all 19 recovered within 3 days. On October 14, 7 more students developed gastroenteritis. All of these students continued to be ill on October 15, but all 7 recovered 5 days later. (Assume that a person cannot get gastroenteritis more than once, and that no more students are getting gastroenteritis after Oct 15th.

1. Calculate the prevalence of gastroenteritis in the class on October 1.

2. Calculate the prevalence of gastroenteritis in the class on October 30.

3. As of October 1, how many students were at risk for gastroenteritis?

4. During October, how many new cases of gastroenteritis occurred?

5. Calculate the cumulative incidence of gastroenteritis in the class during the month of October (from October 1 to 31). Report your answer in 1000 people and round UP to a whole number.
