Assume two chambers are separated by a water and Na+ ion permeable membrane. The permeability ratio for H2O and Na+ is assumed to be 2:1. Chamber A contains water and 5mM NaCl. Chamber B contains water, 1 mM of glucose and 1 mM NaCl. Calculate the pressure difference between the two chambers and indicate which chamber has greater pressure.
