Potential difference and resistance. Three cylinders are attached as shown in Figure 7.36. A current I passes through the cylinders. If σ1> σ2 and σ3 are the conductivities of the cylinders, calculate the potential difference on the three cylinders. Assume current densities are uniform in each cylinder.
