Assessment task : Carbon Management Strategy

There are three sections:

1. Measure and forecast carbon emissions

2. Identify and assess mitigation options

3. Develop a carbon management strategy

Instructions:

Section 1 and 2 are similar to Milestone 1 and 2 but with some differences.

You need to incorporate the feedback provided to you and resubmit the updated work as part of your final report.

Section 3 requires work that has not been submitted before

Section 1 : Measure and forecast carbon emissions

Forecast your companys total GHG emissions for the period 2020 to 2029. Present these in a graphical format showing clearly the amount of emissions by each source and justify your assumptions for your emission forecasts.

Calculate the potential costs your company could face of the provided Australian Carbon Unit carbon price applied to your companys emissions over the forecast period. What is this as a proportion of revenue and net profit? Discuss if you think this material to your company?

Measure and forecast carbon emissions: Understand the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions arising from a business operation under the business-as-usual (BAU) scenario and assess the impact of a carbon price on your compnays profit.
