Problem- 1) What is the calcium ion concentration in a solution prepared by mixing 343 mL of 0.403 M calcium nitrate with 423 mL of 0.253 M sodium fluoride? The Ksp of calcium fluoride is 3.2 × 10-11

2) Suppose a solution contains 0.28 M Pb2 and 0.48 M Al3. Calculate the pH range that would allow Al(OH)3 to precipitate but not Pb(OH)2.

The Ksp values for Al(OH)3 is 4.6*10^-33 and Pb(OH)2 is 1.43*10^-20.

Minimum < PH < Maximum

Define how we can calculate the pH range that would allow Al(OH)3 to precipitate
