Problem- Calculate the pH after addition of 40 mL of 0.150 M NaOH to (the original) 40 mL of 0.150 M acetic acid. This is a hydrolysis problem. All the acetic acid has been converted to acetate. The equilibrium will be that of the base, acetate. Get Kb = 10-14/Ka. Solve the weak base equilibrium for hydroxide concentrations. Get pOH. Then use: 14 - pOH = pH.
Explain your computation for completing above problem

The endpoint in the titration is "overshot" A. is the reported molar concentration of the hydrochloric acid solution too high or too low. B. As a result of this poor titration technique, is the reported number of moles of B4O5(OH)4^2 would be too ..
What does ozone do that oxygen (or any other molecule) do? How? Ozone is created in what is believed to be a two-step process. It is destroyed naturally in one of two pathways. What are those reactions? On Your Own: What is the role of UV in the d..

The rate law for the reaction, 2NO(g) + O2(g) -- 2NO2(g), is found to be: rate of reaction=k[NO]2[O2]2 (PLEASE note that the 2's after the concentrations are powers, so we have NO to the power of 2 and O2 to the power of
