Question - Nabisco is planning to erect a new manufacturing campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. The expected plant cost, including equipment is $580 million; the land is 20% of the total value. The plant and equipment are expected to have a useful life of 10 years and generate pre-tax savings of $140 million annually for the life of the project. The company assumes straight line depreciation (no salvage value) over the 10 years. 

The company's discount rate for these types of projects is 10.125%.  The company's tax rate is 35%.

Calculate the payback, NPV and IRR and make a recommendation for project approval or rejection.
