Odalis is a 1-year-old girl who is hospitalized for acute malnutrition and malabsorption syndrome. Her medical history revealed a 4-month history of lack of appetite and poor weight gain. In addition, history data of gastroesophageal reflux were obtained. She weighs 6.1 kg and measures 0.73 meters. She normal thyroid hormones, normal gastroduodenal esophagus series and other normal complementary tests.

Calculate the patient's BMI correctly and interpret the results.
