Question - How to calculate optimal profit? The sales department recently conducted research on impact of the price increase on the demand for the bus units.ths outcome of the research suggest that at a selling price of R7000 per bus,demand would be 375 per month, for every R500 increase. In selling price, the monthly demand would be reduced by 25 units and for every R500 decrease in the selling price the monthly demand would increase by 25 units.
