Question - Spear Company is considering a $5,480,000 asset investment that has a 4-year service life and a $480,000 salvage value. The investment is expected to produce annual savings in cash operating costs of $940,000.

Spear uses the net-present-value method to analyze investments. Spear Company uses a 10% discount rate. Please do not use "$" or commas in your answer. Calculate the NPV of the Investment using the Appendix(s) in your textbook.
