A reaction of 2.00 ml of nitric acid and excess sodium hydroxide was carried out in an ice calorimeter. It resulted in a change in volume of the ice/water mixture of 0.217 mL in an ice calorimeter. The enthalpy of neutralization of nitric acid is -56.3 kJ/mol, density of ice = 0.917 g/mL, density of water at the 0o C = 1.00 g/mL, and the enthalpy of fusion for ice = 333 J/g. Calculate the molarity of nitric acid.
