Question: A constant rectangular cross-section micro cantilever needs to be designed to sense an input base acceleration of 100g (g is the gravitational acceleration constant). Known are the thickness h = 5 nm, the mass density t = 5600 kg/m3 , and Young's modulus E = 160 Gpa. Calculate the micro cantilever length if the tip deflection cannot exceed 1 nm.
