1. A patient's reaction time to certain stimuli was tested by a psychologist. The times were: 0.53, 0.46, 0.50, 0.49, 0.52, 0.53, 0.44, and 0.55 seconds. Calculate the mean reaction time.

2. Three instructors of medical terminology reported mean grades of 75, 83, and 80. The classes consisted of 32, 25, and 17 students, respectively. Calculate the mean grade for the combined classes.

3. An index is to be computed using the following weighted scores: resting diastolic blood pressure, 3; resting heart rate, 2; serum cholesterol, 1. Weekly readings were taken, and the averages were recorded as: diastolic pressure, 82; heart rate, 62; cholesterol, 164. Calculate the weighted mean.

4. Forty children, under the age of 5 years, were diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) during the past year. The age of each child was recorded (in months) at the time of diagnosis. Listed are the ages from youngest to oldest: 13, 15, 16, 18, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 24, 25, 25, 27, 28, 30, 32, 32, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 40, 40, 41, 42, 44, 45, 45, 47, 48, 48, 49, 50, 52, 53, 55, 57, 58, 58. Calculate:
