1. Economic Context and Literature Review

- Choose a pair of currency to study (other than EUR/USD) and describe its characteristics
- Review the literature related to the determinants of exchange rates (in general and related to the pair you chose, if available in the literature). 1 to 2 pages.

2. Data Collection

Extract data related to the determinants of exchange rates you determined in part 1 for at least a four- year period.

Example of Data needed: monthly dates, monthly exchange rates, GPD growth, BOP balance, interest rate differentials, reserves used in BOP...
Extracted data need to be submitted in an excel document and links to the data sources need to be provided.

3. Analysis

Calculate the mean and median rates for the overall period and by year and draw an illustrative graph.

Run regressions to analyze the determinants of the exchange rates relevant to the pair of currency selected based on the factors that you extracted.
Discuss your findings

4. Conclusion

Provide conclusive remarks summarizing your findings and discuss any potential areas of future research.
