A right, circular cone is made of solid aluminum, with uniform density ρ = 2.70 x 103 kg/m3. Its base, of radius b=14cm sits on the xy plane, and its axis of symmetry Lies along the z-axis. The height, measured from the center of the base to the apex, is h = 37cm.

1) Calculate the mass M of the cone.

2) By symmetry, the center of mass of the cone should Lie on its axis of symmetry (the z axis in this case). Calculate the z-coordinate of its center of mass (remember its base is centered at the origin).
