Consider a particle of radius s that orbits a solar mass star at 1 au on a circular orbit. the particle's velocity relative to the gas disk is nVk where Vk is theKeplerian velocity and n=5X10^-3. (recall that this velocty differential arises because gas, but not particles, is partially supported against gravity by s radial pressure gradient). The density of gas in the disk is 10^-9 c/cm^3=10^-6 kg/m^3.

A) Calculate the mass of gas that the particle collides with during one orbit about the star.

B) Assuming particle density of 3 g/cm^3, calculate the radius of a particle that collides with its own mass of gas during one orbit.
