A metal rod of length 18.6 centimeter and mass 106 gram is free to slide over two parallel, horizontal metallic rails connected to a 10 Volt battery. The battery has internal resistance of 0.100 ohm, and the rod and rails have negligible resistance. A 1.80 T magnetic field is directed perpendicular to the plane of the circuit.

Calculate the magnetic force on the rod?

Determine the rods speed after it has moved 31.8 centimeter, assuming negligible friction.
