A solenoid is constructed with a total of 1500 turns wound around a length of 25 cm. A constant current of 1.7 A flows through the solenoid. A proton moves in the interior of the solenoid, near it's center, with a speed of 8.2X105 m/s. Calculate the magnetic force on the proton if

a. it's velocity is parallel to th axis of the solenoid

b. it's velocity is perpendicular to the axis of the solenoid
