The Gallup poll conducts a survey of 1400 Americans to find out what proportion is in favor of legalizing Marijuana at the state level and having states determine its legality. In the poll 812 Americans favor legalizing marijuana on the federal level.

A 99% confidence interval will be created to find the true proportion, E(p-hat) = μp-hat·
