A neutron in a reactor makes an elastic collision head on with a boron atom that is initially at rest. (The mass of the boron nucleus is about 11 times that of the neutron.)

(a) Find what percent of the neutron kinetic energy is transferred to the boron nucleus?

(b) If the neutron's initial kinetic energy is 2.0 x 10-13 Joule, calculate its final kinetic energy and the kinetic energy of the boron nucleus after the collision.
