Problem: Methane (CH4) gas is to be compressed at 273 K from atmospheric pressure to 30 kN/m in a four stage compressor. Calculate the ideal intermediate pressures and the work required per mol of gas. Assume the compression is isentropic and gas behaves as an ideal gas.
