A section of pipe 100 ft long and 2 inches in diameter contains a fluid at 200 degree F flowing at a mass flow rate of 65 gallons per minute (gpm). The fluid has a density of 40 lbm /ft3 and a viscosity of 3.5 X 10-5 lb=sec / ft2. The relative roughness of the pipe is 7.5 x 10-5 Using Darcy's Equation, calculate the head loss for the section of pipe.
