Congratulations - as the new clinical nutrition manager, you have been asked to recommend the best staffing pattern for a new combined outpatient nutrition clinic and fitness/health club for a large medical center. The facility will be open 24 hours a day. Your plan includes:

1. one receptionist on duty twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week

2. one housekeeper on duty from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday

3. two housekeepers on duty from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday

4. one RDN on duty from 6:00 am to 10:00 am and from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday through Friday

5. two personal fitness instructors on duty from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday

6. three personal fitness instructors on duty from 6:00 am to midnight, Saturday and Sunday 7 one full-time salaried business manager

Calculate the FTEs needed for each role (receptionist, housekeeper, RDN, personal fitness instructor, and business manager)
