Suppose that the fifty resident alligators at Wakulla Springs State Park represent a population that is NOT in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (so you must COUNT alleles). As with Tasmanian Devils, the allele for long fangs is dominant to the allele for short fangs. Please calculate the frequency of the recessive allele in this population if 20 alligators have short fangs and all the others are heterozygous for this trait. (SHOW ALL WORK)
