A uniform beam of length L and of weight 900.00 N is attached to a vertical wall by a hinge. The beam is held in a horizontal position by one rope attachedto the wall above the hinge and to the beam at 3/4 of its length from the wall. the rope makes an angle of exactly 40 degrees to the horizontal. A weight of 1200.00N hangs from the end of the beam.
