1. A coil of 15 000 turns is required to produce an emf of 15 kV. Determine the rate of change of flux that must link with the coil in order to provide this emf.

2. A straight conductor, 8 cm long, is moved with a constant velocity at right angles to a magnetic field. If the emf induced in the conductor is 40 mV, and its velocity is 10 m/s, calculate the flux density of the field.
