1. Calculate the final volume.

a) A volume of 3.55 L of oxygen at 25 °C and 95 kPa is brought back to normal conditions (STP).

b) A volume of 2.0 x 102 mL of air at reference conditions is brought to -10°C and 150 kPa.

c) A volume of 9 x 104 L of gas at 100 kPa and 20 °C is placed in a pressurized container at 1.5 x 103 kPa and 0 °C.

2. An underground reservoir contains natural gas at a pressure of 425 kPa and a temperature of 15 °C. If the volume of the reservoir is 1.3 x 104 kL, what volume would the gas occupy if it were to be freed into the air on a day when the temperature is 35 °C and the pressure is 104 kPa?
