Consider an infinite solenoid of radius R, n turns per unit length, and current I. Two cylinders of length L are coaxial with the solenoid : one of radius aR. If we gradually turn off the current the cylinders start to turn.

a/ Calculate the initial cinetic moment of the system stored in the electromagnetic fields.

b/ Calculate the final cinetic moment of each of the cylinders.
