Problem: One beaker contains 50.0 mL of 1.00 M HCl. A second beaker contains 50.0 mL of distilled water mixed with 7.00 g of solid NaHCO3. Both solutions are initially at 20.00°C, and both should be assumed to have the same density and the same specific heat as pure water. The two solutions are mixed and allowed to react completely. The mixture is stirred well and reaches a final temperature of 18.00°C. Calculate the experimental enthalpy of reaction in units of kJ/mol. The molar mass of NaHCO3 is 84.01 g/mol. Please provide the complete solution of this problem.
