Nitric oxide from car exhaust is a primary air pollutant. Calculate the equilibrium constant for the reaction: N2 (g) + O2 (g) = 2NO (g) @ 25C using the data listed in Appendix 2. Assume that both delta rH and delta rS are temperature independent. Calculate the equilibrium constant at 1500C, which is the typical temperature inside the cylinders of a car's engine after it has been running for some time.
