Maurice Inc. has stock issued as follows: 20,000 shares of cumulative 4% preffered stock $100 par and 100,000 shares of $50 par common. During its first five years of operations the following was declared as dividends: 1st year- none; 2nd year-$20,000; 3rd year $80,000; 4th year-$220,000; 5the year- $240,000.
