Question - The annual "Festival of Orchids" lasts for four weeks. Walbilge Nursery expects to sell 3,000 orchids uniformly over this period. Because of the care and attention that is required to keep the orchids in good shape, Walbilge believes it will cost $1.80 per orchid to maintain them for four weeks. Currently, Walbilge receives two deliveries at a cost of $75 per delivery but is considering receiving 6 deliveries on the same terms instead. Calculate the cost-saving that would result.
