Question - During the months of January and February, Starry Corporation purchased goods from three suppliers. The sequence of events was as follows:

6-Jan Purchased goods for $1,300 from Connor with terms 2/10, n/30 6-Jan Purchased goods for $1,187 from Whitney with terms 2/10, n/30 14-Jan Paid Connor in full

2-Feb Paid Whitney in full

28-Feb Purchased goods for $850 from Dougan with terms 2/10, n/45

Assume that Starry uses a perpetual inventory system, the company had no inventory on hand at the beginning of January, and no sales were made during January and February.

Calculate the cost of inventory as of the end of February.
