A 100-V rms, 60-Hz source is applied to a load impedance Z. The apparent power entering the load is a 140 VA at a power factor of 0.707 lagging. In (a), (b), and (c) round answers to three decimal places if necessary.

(a) Calculate the complex power

S = (recatangular form answer) VA

(b) Find the rms current supplied to the load

Irms =

(c) Determine Z.

Z = (rectangular form answer) Ohms

(d) Assuming that Z = R +jwL, find the values of R and L.

R = (Round to 3 decimal places.) Ohms

L = (Round to 1 decimal place.) mH
