A three phase ac machine with sinusoidally distributed windings has a 3-phase inductance, Lm = 40 mH . Balanced three phase voltages are applied to the stator with line-line voltage,VLL = 208V ( RMS ) , at 50 Hz. The number of turns in each phase winding is 100.

(a) Calculate the combined stator mmf space vector, Fs (t) in the air gap.
(b) Write an expression for the combined stator mmf, Fs(t) at θ = 45 degrees .
