Part I: On a cold day, 10.00 degrees C the tape has shrunk to 99.98 ft. Calculate the coefficient of linear expansion of the metal tape.

Part II: On a very hot day, at 40.00 degrees C, the tape indicates a distance of 48.32 ft between two points. What is the true distance between those points?
