In an angle of repose experiment a block is held near thetop of an inclined plane (length = 100 centimeters). As the angleof the plane is slowly raised, the block just starts to slide atconstant speed when the top of the plane is 39 centimeters abovethe table. Calculate the coefficient of friction for the block on the plane.
